to me, pictures -- good pictures -- are poems. visual documents that can teach us how to truly see, to notice the things we all-too-often miss,
and to experience life in a deeper way. photography has the potential to enable us to sink inside the moment, to live in The Space In-Between,
and NOTICE.
the beauty.
the ache.
the longing, the joy, and the happiness.
to remove our coarseness, and know deeply the precious tenderness of life itself.
this is what photography teaches me: to learn to see.
